Accused Navab, who worked as an egg supplier, allegedly raped his wife's 11-year-old sister who lived with them at his residence in Virar when no one else was at the house 3-4 days ago, Assistant Police Inspector S B Jangam said.
Based on a complaint filed by the wife of the accused, police arrested Navab late last night and booked him under Sections 376(2)(i) (rape) of the IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012, he said.
