The accused took the eight-year-old girl to a nearby Goghor fort on the pretext of providing toffees and biscuits, and subsequently raped her there yesterday, SHO Chabda Police Station Sugan Singh Rathore said.
The victim, later, narrated the incident to her mother, who along with her husband approached the police station late last night and lodged a case of rape against the accused, he said.
The accused uncle of the girl was booked under section 376 of IPC and various sections of the POSCO Act, Rathore said, adding he was arrested from Nadi Mohalla village this morning.
