A 46-year-old man died following a fight with another person in suburban Mankhurd this afternoon, police said.

The incident took place at PMGP MHADA Colony, a police official said.

Bakaruddin Khan and accused Anna Murugan (37) had an altercation over some petty issue which led to fisticuffs, he said.

Khan died on the spot, apparently due to injury to internal organs.

Murugan absconded and police were looking for him, the official added. A case of alleged murder has been registered against him.
