An FIR was registered against an unknown person, who claimed himself to be the ADC to Himachal Pradesh Governor Acharya Devvrat and sought favours from bureaucrats in Haryana.
The FIR was registered at Chhota Shimla police station here following a complaint filed by Arjit Sen, the ADC to the Governor, under IPC Section 170 (personating a public servant).
The police have started preliminary investigations to trace the accused. The matter came to light when a bureaucrat called at the Raj Bhawan to cross check from the ADC if he had contacted the officer and it was found that someone was making fake calls.
Shashi Kant Sharma, advisor to the Governor, said, A complaint, along with audio recordings, was given to the Director General of Police.
