Police said on Friday that a man, released from jail in December last year, was rearrested in connection with snatching and auto theft in Dwarka district.
With the arrest of Vishal, 22, police said they have solved five cases.
He was arrested from Dwarka- Matiyala road on Thursday when he was identifying his victims near a two-wheeler, they said.
Police said Vishal is a music enthusiastic and sports has the hair style of a popular rap singer. After being released from jail in December, he had again started robberies to fund his drug addiction and give a high-end mobile phone to his girlfriend.
Recently, he had recently stolen a motorcycle, which he used to run away quickly after committing crimes, a senior police officer said.
One country-made pistol and two bullets, four mobiles phones and the motorcycle have been seized, the officer added.
Previously, he was jailed in connection with cases of theft and snatching in 2017 and 2018, police said.
