Inspector Machindra Bodke of Malad traffic division said that the accused, Vijay Gupta, was caught while driving in a drunken state yesterday and produced in the court today.
"After he was produced in the court, it was learnt that he had been sentenced to one day's imprisonment for driving under the influence of alcohol only last month," the officer said.
The court then immediately sentenced Gupta to one month's imprisonment observing he had not changed his ways even after being jailed once.
