A 55-year-old man died today after he was allegedly set ablaze by his son over a property dispute, police said.
Radhey Shyam (55) owned a shop which his second son, Arvind, wanted to be transfered in his name, Superintendent of Police (Rural) Ashok Kumar said.
The father-son duo used to have frequent fights over it and during one such heated exchange this evening, Arvind doused his father with kerosene before setting him ablaze.
An FIR has been lodged with Khurja Police Station against the accused on the complaint of Shyam's elder son Ravi, the officer said.
