Man shot dead by daughter's lover

A 48-year-old man was shot dead by his daughter's lover after refusing to marry her off to him in Bhojpur village here, police said today.
The victim was identified as Sompal who worked as a labourer, police said.
"Sompal's daughter had a relationship with Montu (25)," Additional Superintendent of Police, Sanjay Singh said.
"Montu wanted to marry Sompal's daughter but he was against it. Finally, Montu shot Sompal dead," he added.
Police has sent the body for post-mortem and the youth has been arrested, he said.
