Representatives for the couple have released a joint statement which said that the couple have mutually decided to end their marriage, reported Radar online.
"Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams have mutually decided to end their marriage of almost 6 years. It is a respectful, amicable parting of ways and both Mandy and Ryan are asking for media to respect their privacy at this time," the statement read.
The 'Tangled' voice cast member filed her divorce papers in Los Angeles while Adams was in New York for an appearance on 'Late Night with Seth Meyers'.
Back in December, Moore was seen without her wedding band in a selfie she posted on Instagram.
