Maoists want people to boycott of R K Nagar by election

The district court premises today witnessed noisy scenes when five Maoists, brought by police to to extend their custody, raised slogans in support of their ideology and also opposing electoral system.
The Maoists--Roopesh his wife Shyna, Kannan, Anoop and Veeramani raised slogans against electoral system and wanted the people to boycott the bypoll in R K Nagar on April 12.
Principal District Court judge R Pongiappan extended their custody till April 17 and they were taken back to the Central Jail here.
