According to the India Meteorological Department, minimum temperature was recorded at 9 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average, while the maximum settled at 23.7 degrees Celsius.
Humidity level was between 90 and 27 per cent, a MeT official said.
Shallow fog in the morning affected train services. Three north-bound trains were cancelled, 23 were running late while three were rescheduled, at 6:30 am, a senior railway ministry official said.
The MeT department has forecast that tomorrow their will be "partly cloudy sky becoming generally cloudy towards the afternoon/evening. Mist in the morning".
Yesterday, the minimum temperature settled at 9.3 degrees Celsius and the maximum stood at 24.6 degrees Celsius.
