Married woman alleges rape by relative

A newly-wed woman here has alleged that she was raped by the husband of her sister-in-law, police said today.
The victim has accused Shamshad of raping her and her husband Shan Muhammad and sister-in-law Reshma for hatching the conspiracy for it, they said.
As per an FIR lodged at the Sahibabad police station, the victim was married to Shan Muhammad, a resident of Siyan Bulandshahr on February 16, 2014.
Last night, she along with her husband came to her sister-in-law's house at Shahid Nagar in Sahibabad police station area.
In the night, the victim and her husband were sleeping in a room on the ground floor.

According to the FIR, her husband then quietly left the room and sent Shamshad to sleep with her. The victim has claimed that she was then raped by Shamshad.

The woman said when she tried to raise the issue, her husband shut her mouth.
Later, she called her mother and father who took her to the police station.
SHO of Sahibabad Police Station Upendra Yadav said an FIR under Section 376 (rape) and 120B (criminal conspiracy) of Indian Penal Code has been registered against Shamshad, Shan Muhammad and Reshma.
The accused have been arrested, he said.
