Masi festival begins in Tiruchendur Murugan temple

The Masi festival at the famous Lord Subramaniaswamy temple in this coastal town began today with the flag hoisting ceremony.
The flag was brought in a procession and hoisted after special poojas amidst chanting of the vedas and 'Thirumurai' (Tamil veda) by the experts.
Temple Joint Commissioner R.Gnanasekar and Fit Person P T Kottai Manian were present on the occasion.
