Masoor, its dal eases on subdued demand

Barring a fall in masoor and its dal prices by Rs 100 per quintal owing to slackened demand from retailers, other pulses held steady at the wholesale pulses market today on some buying support.
Traders said sluggish demand from retailers against adequate stocks position mainly kept pressure on masoor and its dal prices.
In the national capital, masoor small and bold fell by Rs 100 each to Rs 6,600-7,200 each per quintal. Its dal local and best quality eased by a similar margin to Rs 7,700-7,800 and Rs 7,800-7,900 per quintal.
