Local Catholic leaders said that the procession, also known as the 'Procession of the Eucharist' was led by Ranchi-based His Eminent Telesphoro Cardinal P Toppo where Reverend Stephen Rotluanga, Bishop of Aizawl Diocese, also participated.
Cardinal Toppo conducted a mass and closing of the Door of Mercy at the Christ King Cathedral at Tlangnuam locality in Aizawl this morning before the commencement of the procession.
