Max temp 29C in Delhi

It was a sunny day in Delhi on Tuesday and the maximum temperature was 29 degrees Celsius, the meteorological department said.

The air quality index in the city was 205, which falls under the 'poor' category.

The city recorded a minimum temperature of 14.3 degrees Celsius, a notch above normal, the India Meteorological Department said.

A fresh western disturbance is expected to affect northwest India between Wednesday and Saturday.

Light to moderate rainfall and thunderstorm, accompanied with gusty wind and hailstorm, are likely in the National Capital Region from Thursday to Saturday under its influence.
