Meat seller, 2 others booked for torturing minor servant

A meat seller and two of his associates have been booked for allegedly torturing their minor servant on suspicion of stealing money, police said today.
According to SP (City) Rajesh Kumar, 8-year-old Kaif worked as a help at a meat shop owned by Sher Ilahi at Gulaothi town here. Ilahi had given Kaif Rs 1.3 lakh to be delivered to the owner's home, but upon delivery Rs 60,000 were short.
Ilahi reportedly gave electric shocks and cigarette burns on Kaif's body, the SP City said.
A case against the employer and his two associates has been lodged by Kaif's father and the victim sent to PHC for medical examination, the SP City said.
