Medical officer commits suicide

A 50-year-old medical officer allegedly committed suicide here by jumping into a canal at Bhopa village in the district, police said today.
Mukesh Gupta, took the extreme step as he was apparently under depression for some reason. He was posted in government primary health centre at Dhudhli, they said.
Later, he was rushed to a hospital, where he was declared dead, doctors said.
