"Sadhvi Prachi can stay admitted in the hospital," LLRM Medical College Principal K K Gupta said.
Doctors attending to the BJP leader had decided to refer her to AIIMS in New Delhi after she wished for it but she later changed her mind after meeting her supporters, Gupta said, adding that her condition has improved considerably.
Kshatriya Mahasabha leader Kuldeep Tomar and Meerut College Students' Union President Dushyant Tomar had yesterday staged a protest, alleging that the hospital administration took the decision to refer Sadhvi to AIIMS under pressure from a senior Uttar Pradesh minister.
Meanwhile, Prachi today came down heavily on BJP's state unit president Laxmikant Bajpai, saying that if he remains in the post till the Assembly polls, slated for 2017, then wining 50 seats would be tough for BJP.
