The 10-year-old girl was strangulated to death in Karkowda area of the village, police said, adding that her family has alleged that she was murdered after being raped.
Police, however, said the body has been sent for post mortem and rape will be confirmed only after the examination.
A case has been registered against unidendified person in the Karkowda police station, said police.
