Mentha futures fall 0.52% on profit-booking
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, mentha oil for delivery in August fell Rs 4.70, or 0.52 per cent, to Rs 892.60 per kg, with a business volume of 504 lots.
Also, mentha oil for September delivery drifted by Rs 2.20, or 0.24 per cent, to Rs 906 per kg, with a business turnover of 106 lots.
The fall in mentha oil prices at futures trade was mostly due to profit-booking by speculators and weak trend at spot market on subdued demand, marketmen said.
