Minimum temperature settled at 26.2 degree Celsius which was two notches below normal.
According to MeT department, skies are likely to turn partly cloudy later in the day but no rains are expected.
Humidity level recorded till 8.30 AM this morning was 64 per cent.
An official of the department said that maximum temperature is expected to settle around 39 degree Celsius.
Yesterday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 38.4 degrees Celsius while the minimum had settled two notches below normal at 26 degrees Celsius.
Showers over the weekend had brought down the mercury which was earlier hovering above the 40 degrees Celsius mark.
