King of Pop Michael Jackson was in talks to star in a film based on the premise of the Pied Piper.
Philanthropist Candy Spelling in her new memoir revealed that her late husband, producing legend Aaron Spelling, once worked with George Lucas on a planned project, which would star Jackson, who died at the age of 50 in 2009, reported New York Post online.
"It was an idea based on the premise of the Pied Piper," Candy wrote in the book.
"Marvin Davis, who owned 20th Century Fox Studios, and George Lucas were also involved," she added.
But the idea never got off the ground.
