Miley Cyrus joins Woody Allen's new Amazon series

Singer Miley Cyrus is returning to acting with Woody Allen's new series for Amazon.
The 23-year-old singer confirmed the news with an Instagram post.
"...Stoked to be in Woody Allen's first series!!!!! I had claimed 2016 to be my year, but next to my bed for a few years now has been this portrait of WA & I was looking into his eyes when I got the call to be apart of the cast and work alongside Elaine May & the dude himself! 1960zzzz here I come," Miley wrote alongside a photo of a painting resembling the 80-year-old famed director.

The yet untitled, six half-hour-episode series, will mark the first collaboration between the former Disney star and Allen.
Filming of the project will begin in March.
