Militant hideout busted in Kashmir's Baramulla district

Security forces today busted a militant hideout in north Kashmir's Baramulla district and recovered a cache of arms and ammunition.
"A search operation was launched in the forest area of Guriwan village near Zandfaran area of the district following information about presence of a militant hideout there," an Army spokesman said here.
He said during the search operation, a hideout was busted and a large quantity of arms and ammunition were recovered.
The recoveries include one AK 47 rifle, 460 rounds of AK 47, one chinese pistol, two magazines of chinese pistol, 28 rounds of chinese pistol, eight RPGs, three UBGL, 20 UBGL rounds, eight RPG boosters, two radio sets and one GPS device, the spokesman said.
