Suraya Jan was injured when unidentified militants fired upon her at her residence in Katrasoo village of Kulgam late last night, a police official said.
He said Suraya received injuries on her right leg.
She was rushed to a district hospital, where from she was referred to SMHS Hospital here for further treatment, the official said.
