Minister seeks society's support in conservation of ecology

Stressing integrated efforts for conservation of ecology, a Jammu Kashmir minister Ajay Kumar Sadhotra has sought support from all sections of the society to deal with the grave challenge of environmental degradation.
Sadhotra, who is in-charge of the Planning and Development portfolio, called for more awareness among the masses over various causes leading to threat to ecosystem, and said government alone cannot deal with the problem.
The minister, who was speaking at a function to observe the World Earth Day, said the media can play a major role in educating people.
He appealed people to take additional measures in keeping their surrounding green and clean.
