Minor girl gets obscene messages from her tenant

A 15-year-old girl has reported of receiving obscene messages on her mobile phone allegedly from her tenant, police said.
The victim, a resident of Shiv Durga Vihar Lakkarpur in Faridabad and a student of class IX, has filed a complaint saying that she has been receiving obscene messages and blank calls on her mobile phone for the last few days.
She said that she suspect Ramnath, one of the tenants in her house. The accused hails from Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh and is a distant relative of victim's father. He is living in her house as a tenant for the last one year, police added.
A case has been registered with Police Station Surajkund Faridabad under section 354 D of IPC (stalking) and section 12 of POCSO.
Police have started investigations in the case, said the Investigating Officer Asha Rani.
