The incident took place at Sachai Mathia village last night as the man identified as Sudhir Kumar allegedly raped the 14-year-old girl after finding the girl alone in her house, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Mamata Kalyani said.
The neighbours informed the police about the incident following which the girl was taken to a government hospital for medical check up, she said.
A case has been lodged against the man and a search was launched for his arrest, the DSP said.
