Minor raped in Haryana

An 11-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a man in Mewla Maharajpur village here, police said today.
The incident took place yesterday when the victim reached the gate of her school, they said.
The accused, identified as Sharda Soni, had come there to drop his children at the school. After sending his children inside, he grabbed the girl's hand, covered her mouth and dragged her to his room where he raped her, police said.
The even threatened to kill her if she revealed the incident to anyone, they said, adding, he raped her twice again after that.
The girl later narrated her ordeal to her teacher who then informed her parents, police said.

A case has been registered in this connection, police said, adding, the matter is being investigated.
Meanwhile, in a separate incident, a minor girl was abducted allegedly by unidentified persons from here, police said today.
A case has been registered based on a complaint filed by the girl's uncle, police said, adding, the matter is being investigated.
