Missing British nationals yet to be traced; boat found

The boat in which the duo set out for rafting on May 19 has been found in Cauvery river between Sangama and Mekedatu in Mandya district, District Additional Superintendent of Police Rajanna told PTI.

Police are yet to ascertain how the boat reached the spot which they suspect to be infested with crocodiles.

Rajanna said the search operations to locate Ian Turton and his friend Mike Eastern was called off this evening due to poor light and it will resume tomorrow.
