MLA arrested, released on bail in assault case

Pawan Duggal was arrested in the morning and was produced before a local court where the magistrate granted him bail.

The then Chief Engineer of Indira Gandhi canal project, Birdhichand, had registered a case against Duggal and others alleging that they misbehaved and assaulted him in December 2010 when they came to his office to hand over a representation of some agitating employees.
