MLC polls for teachers' constituency registers 70% polling

The teachers' constituency MLC election was peaceful in Krishna-Guntur region today, except for a minor incident in Vijayawada district, even as 70 per cent of polling was registered, official sources said.
As per tentative details, 12,650 voters cast their votes in the MLC Election in Krishna-Guntur teachers' constituency, official sources said.
In Krishna district, polling percentage was 65.3 per cent and in Guntur district it was 77.5 per cent, sources said.
