The company manages equity mutual funds, portfolio management services (PMS) and alternative investment funds (AIFs).
"The company expects to grow closer to Rs 45-50,000 crore in next three years," managing director and chief executive, Motilal Oswal AMC, Aashish Somaiyaa told PTI here.
"We manage totally over Rs 26,000 crore, of which around Rs 14,000 crore is managed via alternative platforms like PMS and AIF. The balance is in mutual funds," he said.
According to Somaiyaa, "From Nil presence about 3 years back, today we are 2 per cent of the outstanding industry AUM. And in incremental flows of course we are more than this share."
However, he said that the company doesn't have a market share target as it sees itself as a highly differentiated niche equity house.
Systematic investment plan (SIP) book of the company currently stands at Rs 100 crore.
"Our SIP book is around Rs 100 crore which at 2 per cent is in line with our overall share," he said, adding, "But we see SIP as a feature or a service or a facility and not as a product.
