committed suicide today by hanging herself from the ceiling of her residence in Andheri, where she was staying with her boyfriend, police said.
The victim, identified as Kamarjeet Kaur alias Neha, was reportedly staying with her boyfriend in a live-in relationship, police said.
"The model had come to Mumbai from Delhi just a day before Eid and was staying with her boyfriend Devraj," they said.
He returned home at 12:30 AM today. When nobody opened the door despite his repeatedly ringing the door bell, he called Amboli police.
"The door was later broken open and people were shocked to see the body hanging from the ceiling," police said.
Further investigation is on, police added.
