The maximum day temperatures rose by few degrees as dry weather prevailed in most of the places and Una in foothills recorded maximum and minimum temperatures at 34.8 degrees Celsius and 24.9 deg respectively.
Bhunter and Sundernagar recorded a high of 33.1 deg and 32.6 deg, followed by Nahan 29.3 deg, Solan 28.2 deg, Dharamshala 27.4 deg, Kalpa 24.8 deg and Shimla 23.8 deg.
Berthin was wettest in the region with 44 mm of rains while Bhoranj recorded 40 mm rains, followed by Amb 34 mm , Banjar 30 mm, Berthin 27 mm, Rajgarh 22 mm, Rampur ,Bilaspur (AWS)-16 each, Jubbarhatti-15, Jhandutta-14, Kandaghat-13, Dharamshala & Kasol-12 each, and Manali 11 mm and Sundernagar 10 mm.
The local MeT office has predicted rains and thundershowers at several places in the state during next 72 hours.
