Before proceeding to the hills, kicking off his campaign in the region of residuary Andhra Pradesh, Modi, accompanied by TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu and Janasena founder Pawan Kalyan, actor-turned-politician and the youngest brother of Union Minister Chiranjeevi, addressed a public meeting here tonight.
After an overnight halt on the hills, they would offer prayers at the hill temple early tomorrow, temple sources told PTI.
After worship, the trio would take part in public meetings at Madanapalle, 100 km from here, followed by meetings in Nellore, Guntur, Bhimavaram and Visakhapatnam tomorrow, BJP and TDP sources said.
