"Narendra Modi is making Gujarat a secure laboratory for MNCs and the corporate sector which are heading towards the state," party's National General Secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya told reporters here.
Claiming that the Gujarat model was anti-labour and anti-poor, he said "Everyone knows about the false encounters and that there is no justice in Gujarat, yet the corporate sector wants the Gujarat Model and seeing Modi as the prime ministerial candidate."
Alleging that Modi allegedly failed to protect the people during the 2002 riots, he said this should be a warning to the people.
He said that in 1977, the people voted against emergency and in 2004 the voters threw out the BJP-led NDA following the Gujarat riots.
"It will be an anti-America and anti-corporate vote in 2014 elections," claimed Bhattacharya.
