A woman officer of the Kolkata Police Thursday lodged a complaint that money has been withdrawn from her bank account from an ATM without her knowledge, police said.
In her complaint lodged with Regent Park police station, the woman said she came to know about it after receiving messages on her mobile phone.
She has informed her bank on the incident and then lodged a complaint with the police.
Initial probe revealed that there were three withdrawals from her account from an ATM kiosk in Sealdah, a senior officer of Kolkata Police said.
"It could be a case of skimming debit card. We are looking into the matter. We have asked bank authorities for CCTV footages of the ATM kiosk. Hopefully, we will soon crack the case," he said.
