Monnet Ispat reappoints Sandeep Jajodia as CMD

Monnet Ispat & Energy Ltd (MIEL) today announced the reappointment of Sandeep Kumar Jajodia as Chairman and Managing Director of the company.
"The board of directors of the company at the meeting held today ...Has, inter alia approved the appointment of Ankita Wadhawan, as Additional Director in the category of Independent Director, re-appointment of Sandeep Kumar Jajodia as Chairman and Managing Director of the company," Monnet Ispat & Energy Ltd said in a filing to BSE.
The board also gave its nod to resignation of C P Baid as the deputy Managing Director of the company, w.E.F March 31, 2017, the filing said.

MIEL, has a de-risked business portfolio that encompasses manufacturing and marketing of sponge iron, steel and ferro alloys. MIEL is also engaged in mining of minerals like coal and iron ore.
MIEL is in the group of primary steel producers with a world class integrated steel plant at Raigarh that has a production capacity of 1.5 MTPA to produce HR plates, rebars and structure profiles to cater to the rapidly growing infrastructure & construction industry.
