The session would have 16 sittings, including two private member's days and it would be longest-ever session of the Vidhan Sabha, an official release said.
"This year the monsoon session would be longer then the Budget session held in February-March as the number of sittings was only 14," it said.
As per the rules of business, a minimum 35 sittings of the House have been prescribed in a calender year and with the conclusion of the monsoon session, 30 sittings would be held and remaining five sittings are likely to be held during the winter session in December, it said.
The session would be significant as e-vidhan project would be implemented from this session to automate all the processes and make the Vidhan Sabha paperless.
