Moong dal, Gram dal prices go down

Prices of moong dal and gram dal fell, while all other commodities ruled steady at the wholesale foodgrains market here during the week.
Moong dal opened the week at Rs 10,500, down by Rs 300 per quintal from its closing rate of Rs 10,800 to close the week at its opening rate.
Gram dal plunged by Rs 200 per quintal to Rs 6,200 on the opening day from Rs 6,400 and closed at the same rate.
Prices of Thoor dal (Rs 10,800), urad dal (Rs 10,900), Sugar (Rs 2,700), wheat (Rs 3,000), Maida (90 kg) (Rs.2,500) and Sooji (Rs.3,000) ruled steady throughout the week.
