The deceased have been identified as 30-year-old Saira and her minor daughter Nida, Railway Police Inspector Pankaj Lavania said.
The incident took place when Saira, along with her daughter, was heading towards Dasna District Jail to meet her husband Ilyas, who is lodged there in a rape case of a four-month-old girl.
Her scarf got stuck in the nearby bushes when she was trying to cross the track and in an attempt to remove it, she could not see the fast approaching Delhi-bound Garib Rath Express, Lavania said, adding, both were run over by the train.
