Mother-in-law arrested for demanding dowry

A woman was arrested for allegedly demanding dowry from her daughter-in-law, police said today.
Police today registered a case against husband Sanjeev Kumar, father-in-law Des Raj and mother-in-law Neelam for allegedly demanding dowry from Nisha who got married four years ago.
She was being tortured and harassed by her in-laws for dowry, Nisha alleged in her FIR.
The mother-in-law was arrested, while the other two accused are absconding, police said.
