Mother saved, 2 children drown in a river in Bihar

Two children drowned while their mother, who had jumped in Budhi Gandak river with the chilren suspectedly over feud within family, was rescued by the villagers in Bihar's Samastipur district today, police sources said.
The woman Babita Devi (30) had jumped into the river with the two children identified as Rabi Kumar (5) and Suman Kumar (3), they said.
The onlookers managed to save the woman but children died in the incident, the sources said.
The matter is under investigation.
