Motor-cycles added to fire-fighting network in Himachal

Emergency fire-fighting systems fitted on motor-cycles were flagged off by Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal from his official residence here.

Dhumal said Himachal had become the second state in the country to add motor-cycles (quick response vehicles) into the fire-fighting network.

The quick response vehicles are capable of penetrating narrow lanes, he said.
