Kannur and Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai, has signed a MoU for collaborating together in the areas of research, exchange of academic information and publications.
The MoU, signed yesterday at Chennai, would also facilitate the cadets and students of both the institutions to participate in project competitions, faculty exchange programmes, sponsorship of cooperative seminars, workshops, etc and facilitate faculty development programmes, a release from INA said here.
Prof Bhaskar Ramamurthy, Director of Indian Institute of Technology Madras, said the indstitution was engaged in interactions with society, organisations and industry through a variety of outreach programmes. "With the signing of the MoU, we have committed ourselves formally to work together more closely towards our common goals", he said.
