Called "Ishkule Bioscope" (films in schools), the initiative is aimed at creating awareness about Bengali cinema, Banibrata Banerjee said on behalf of the organisers.
The closing ceremony was held at Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute (SRFTI) today where select students, chosen city schools through quiz contests, turned up and enjoyed Sandip Ray-directed 'Badshahi Angti', based on Satyajit Ray's popular detective fiction on Feluda.
Director Ringo Banerjee and some actors were present at the screening.
The films were screened after class hours, followed by a quiz.
