"I welcome constitution of the Seventh Pay Commission, but I don't think the Central Government would be able to implement it. It is merely an announcement," the Chief Minister told reporters here today.
Chouhan also said that the Congress-led UPA government would not be able to fulfill this announcement since it would not come back to power after the Lok Sabha elections.
He reiterated his allegation that the Centre treats Madhya Pradesh in a "stepmotherly" manner while sanctioning funds for developmental and social welfare projects.
He also distributed compensation cheques to farmers whose crops got damaged in natural calamities.
The MP government has sanctioned Rs 115 crore as compensation for damaged soyabean crop in Harda district.
