"We are collecting data and would start the process of cancelling licenses within a month," transport minister Bhupendra Singh said here.
Singh said that the state was working on a plan to develop the bus stands on the lines of railway stations and airports through public-private-participation model.
The MP Inter-City Transport Authority was being constituted for providing good transport facilities, and efforts were on to provide night-time bus services in remote areas.
As certain routes, especially in the rural areas, did not have enough transport connectivity because of the low revenue potential, the government had planned to give subsidy to transport providers in these areas, he said.
Singh, also in charge of Information Technology, said that IT parks were being established in Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Chhindwara and Ujjain.
